Our tuition for Key Stage One pupils is engaging, nurturing and always stimulating. This is a transitional phase of their education when they really discover the joy of exploring new things to learn and fresh, exciting ways of learning.
Key Stage 1: Ages 5–7
During key stage 1 our tuition focuses on numeracy, literacy, spelling, sentence structure and vocabulary word work, reading, phonics, confidence and support. We have a number of teachers and tutors qualified to work with children at this level.
Pupils are Engaged and Challenged but never Pressured
Our KS1 teachers and tutors are equipped to support young children who are finding aspects of learning challenging in the early years.
The KS1 tutors at our Wolverhampton based tuition centre Swift Tutors understand how important it is to make learning enjoyable for children aged between five and seven. We appreciate that young children should not feel pressured, therefore our tutors provide caring support and patient tutoring. Young pupils can make great leaps and strides in their academic arena with that extra confidence boost that comes with our excellent tuition. Learning can be incredibly fun, fascinating, innovative, creative, enjoyable, empowering and satisfying for younger children as we make sure the learning truly involves them and stretches them to achieve their own individual potential.
Every child excels
At Swift Tutors we teach using proven strategies to ensure that young children learn how to overcome their learning fears and frustrations.
School can be a daunting place and not every child progresses at the same rate. At our tuition centre it is important to ensure your child feels good about learning and is willing to try new things.
You may have a child who is particularly bright and needs more of an intellectual challenge than school. Why not meet that need by helping them to engage in special projects that interest them with a tutor who can tailor activities to their ability?
Key stage 1 tasks, targets and tests
KS1 pupils will take a number of tasks and tests while at school and their teacher will work out the level they are at in the following areas:

Contact us if you feel that your child would benefit from additional support in any of the above areas.
