Maths GCSE and A level
We believe that maths should be taught in a way that reinforces absolute clarity and 100% student understanding of the trickier, challenging maths topics at both GCSE and A level.
Our tutors provide preparation for maths at both GCSE and A level. Revision classes and lessons are provided throughout the year as well. Maths is taught in a structured, concise way by very approachable, friendly tutors who are HODs and maths specialists in their field. Establishing a strong and communicative rapport between pupil and tutor is vital for optimum progress and success. Lessons are engaging, enjoyable and personalised to each individual student’s own unique needs. We encourage repetition and reinforcement of the various approaches and strategies involved in maths problem solving at this level.
Our ethos is based on teaching students in a way that is supportive, confidence building and inspires excellence. Students are encouraged to ask for explanation and expansion when they don’t fully understand a maths topic.
Maths at this level is taken at either foundation or higher tier. Our tutors can tutor from their home, the tuition centre in Wolverhampton or their own home in Penn; sometimes home visit to students are available depending on demand. We cover examination boards including OCR, Edexcel and AQA.
