Our Coaches
Does your child love the beautiful game? Why not nurture this passion for football in a friendly, safe, supportive, skills and values driven setting?

You will experience high-quality coaching sessions in a safe setting with FA qualified coaches DBS checked and First Aid qualified. We pride ourselves on sportsmanship, diversity, inclusivity and technical football. The recommended player-to-coach ratio is never exceeded, and children are coached in their appropriate age groups.
Sessions at Swift Soccer are fun, focused and high energy – promoting the social skills of shared team values, cooperation, healthy competition and creativity on the pitch.
Our Ethos, Aims and Values

We instil a strong behaviour expectation that promote self-discipline which enhances children’s technical football skills while our children enjoy their skill practice and small-sided activities. Young players have the opportunity to meet and establish new friendships; to grow and develop as footballers. We actively promote impeccable pitch etiquette by encouraging good manners between players and other teams on and off the pitch – playing fair and demonstrating decency in their conduct is at the heart of our ethos. Children need healthy boundaries to gain confidence, feel safe and support one another – our goal is to bring our their footballing potential in a way that promotes fair play and consideration for others.
The Sessions
4-7 Age group
Basic movement skills will be taught for the younger children, ages 4 to 7 (including agility, speed, balance, coordination). They will develop their football expertise on and off the pitch in a fun but coordinated way that helps them flourish in football. They will be taught the technical aspects of football in incremental stages, breaking the key football skills into stages that are fun yet challenging. The sessions are stimulating and inclusive and engage players at all ability levels in a structured way that also incorporates fun activities, challenges, and games.

8-12 Age group
We build on the earlier football foundations and introduce more complex mastery of the ball combined with learning about shape and formations on the pitch as children grow in confidence and evolve their playing technique. Practice makes perfect so repetition combined with creative football works best for this age group. We focus on ball control with footwork and turns drills, agility, shooting, passing, dribbling and mastering the ball with keep-ups.
For older players, the 8 to 12 year-olds, there is a continuing development of movement skills and a progression in skill activities and games. Football discovery learning improves players’ knowledge and hones their skillset: FUTSAL (small-sided football recognised and supported by FIFA, UEFA and The FA) and Panna football (1V1 scoring as many goals as possible or a nutmeg to win a game) are incorporated at this stage to encourage skilful, tactical, creative playing.
What you will need to bring
Children should wear trainers and football strip or a track suit to sessions to ensure they are comfortable. They can bring drinks too.
